Leni-Kiko Supporters Assert Solidity on Support for Tandem
LENI-KIKO – The supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan asserted their support to them as a tandem amid the call for “RoSa”.
The Election 2022 is less than two (2) months from now and the national election candidates are on tight schedules to visit as many provinces and meet as many Filipinos as they can before the campaign period is over. Grand rallies are taking social media platforms by storm.
Among the grand rallies that gathered thousands of people were the campaign sorties of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, and their senate slate members. The provinces of Iloilo, Cavite, Negros Occidental, and Nueva Ecija turned pink during their visit.
Recently, the Leni-Kiko tandem visited Nueva Ecija. They went to several cities and towns in the province including San Jose. The tandem was very happy over the warm welcome and the crowd that gathered for them.
Amid the Elections 2022 drawing near, there are calls pairing some presidential candidates with other vice-presidential bets. One of these is the “RoSa” campaign – the support for Vice Pres. Leni Robredo and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.
Mayor Duterte is running under Lakas-CMD. Her running-mate is Partido Federal ng Pilipinas standard-bearer and former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Amid the “RoSa” campaign, the Leni-Kiko supporters asserted that they support Vice Pres. Leni Robredo and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan as a tandem. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, one of the “Kakampink” said that the partnership of Vice Pres. Robredo and Sen. Pangilinan is visible and the president and the vice president having different visions may not be beneficial.
Vice Pres. Robredo’s spokesperson, Atty. Barry Gutierrez, said that they are grateful for the support of the local officials but their vice-presidential bet remains to be Sen. Pangilinan.
