A Facebook user named Ella Garcia has shared the photo of a jeepney driver who posted a signage asking for P15 minimum fare. The post immediately circulates online and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the photo, it can be seen that the driver posted a signage asking for P15 minimum fare due to the surging prices of diesel over the past few months. However, it was just voluntary and not mandatory.
The sign doesn’t compel passengers to pay the amount posted but they can voluntarily do it. The jeepney is travelling Sta. Barbara-Dagupan, Pangasinan route. The lady passenger has decided to take a photo and posted it on social media.
The signage has words written “15 pesos minimum voluntary kung sino po may gusto mataas po kasi ang diesel salamat po. Salamat sa unawa kung sino po may gusto.”
