Website Named after Ka Leody Redirects to the Site of BBM
Presidential aspirant Ka Leody De Guzman outraged after a website named after him redirects to the site of rival Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr (BBM).
The camp of Partido Lakas ng Masa presidential candidate Leody De Guzman uncovered a domain address that redirects to his opponent’s website. Anyone who visits https://kaleody.com is sent to https://www.bongbongmarcos.com, according to De Guzman.

De Guzman believes the domain name was chosen with the intent of confusing voters and undermining the campaign of others. According to him, the election is likely to be tainted by elite and established parties.
De Guzman expresses surprise, saying that he did not expect them to go so far as to take his name. The labor leader’s staff is presently investigating the crime of “domain snatching” and has clarified the name of his official website’s domain.
“Pinag-aaralan na natin ang paghahain ng kaso laban sa mga may pakana ng domain grabbing. May ebidensya na tayo ng pag-redirect mula sa kaleody.com tungo sa bongbongmarcos.com,” the labor leader warned.
“Para sa kaalaman ng lahat, ang aking campaign website ay kaleody.org,”he said.
The team of Marcos Jr. has yet to respond to De Guzman’s allegations. kaleody.com was registered on Wednesday, according to WHOIS, a domain name lookup engine (Feb 23).
