Framers of 1987 Philippine Constitution Back Leni-Kiko Tandem

The framers of the 1987 Philippine Constitution expressed their support to Vice Pres. Leni Robredo and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.

The candidates of the upcoming May 2022 national election are currently dealing with hectic schedules in the pursuit to reach out to more Filipino voters to campaign for the upcoming poll. Most of them are following planned scheduled visits to certain cities and provinces across the nation to be able to meet more voters before the campaign period is over.

There are also invitations to candidates like what the fishermen in Cebu did when they invited Vice Pres. Leni Robredo. Together with her running-mate, Liberal Party’s vice-presidential bet Senator Kiko Pangilinan, they met with the fishermen during their recent visit to the province.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the fishermen that Vice Pres. Leni Robredo visited were among those greatly affected by Typhoon Odette. The fishermen are vocal of their gratitude to the Office of the Vice President for the help extended to them and expressed their support to the presidential bid of the Vice President.

According to the report, the framers of the 1987 Philippine Constitution also back the tandem of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan in the upcoming May 2022 Election. They released a statement regarding their stand.

“We wish to state in all conviction that, among the candidates for president, Vice President Leni Robredo embodies the principles and values found in the basic charter of the land,” the framers of the 1987 Philippine Constitution said.

The People’s Rally was held in Cebu City and it gathered the supporters of the Leni-Kiko tandem. During the 2016 vice-presidential election, Robredo got the major votes in the vote-rich island of Cebu. She is hopeful that she will get the Cebuanos’ votes again now that she is campaigning after fulfilling the things she promised before.
