Student Caught with Illegal Plant in Possession after Accosted for Face Mask Violation
Police authorities arrested a student after an illegal plant was caught in his possession when he was accosted for allegedly face mask violation.
In a report of Pasay City police, the patrolling Libertad Substation police saw a 19-year-old student wandering without a face mask on Decena Street in Barangay 94 in Pasay City. The man was charged right away for breaking a city regulation prohibiting the wearing of a face mask.

Authorities demanded his identity card as well as the contents of his pocket, based on the report. However, when the contents of the pocket were removed, a sachet containing only 2.8 grams of marijuana worth $336 was discovered.
The young man will face charges under the Controlled Dangerous Substances Act. Meanwhile, authorities in Malate, Manila, apprehended a businessman after an illegal herb known as ‘kush’ was discovered in his hands during an operation.
According to the authorities, during an operation in Malate, Manila, they collected an estimated P675,000 worth of kush from the suspect. A light green package named after the culprit and mailed from Iris CT Arlington, WA 98223 was taken from him.
It contains 15 translucent plastic packs with approximately 500 grams of dried marijuana leaves each (Kush). The suspect is being investigated for a violation of RA 9165’s Section 4 of Article ll, which will be presented at the Inquest Proceedings.
