Flower Farm in Daraga, Albay Conducts Early Harvest as Preparation for Undas 2021
UNDAS 2021 – A certain flower farm in Barangay Matnog, Daraga, Albay is all set for the observance of upcoming Undas 2021.
Most people are buying flowers during the Undas season as offering for their departed loved ones. People considered it as a sign of love and respect for their loved ones who already passed away.
Vendors were usually gather in public and private cemeteries during All Saint’s and All Soul’s Day to sell flowers, candles and other items.
A farm owner named Ronaldo Andres in Barangay Matnog, Daraga, Albay has prepared flowers for the upcoming Undas. He is already picking and harvesting his flowers before the holiday.
Tatay Ronaldo is pretty optimistic that he could sell his products although he harvest it a little bit early compared to the usual date. He decided to prepare as early as possible because a lot of people are visiting their loved ones before the All Saint’s Day.
The Philippine government and Catholic Churches have ordered the closure of public and private cemeteries from October 29 until November 3, 2021 in compliance with the restricted cemetery access.
The government aims to prevent the further spread of various COVID-19 variants during the holiday.
The vendor is offering different types of flowers including their famous “Yellow Gold”. The price ranges from P25 to P35, which is the average price of the products during the Undas season.
The flower farm owners in Barangay Matnogare expecting many customers and good sales during the Undas season amid the coronavirus pandemic.
