“Dugyot” Taho Shop Previously Shut Discovered Operating Secretly

Shutdown “Dugyot” Taho Shop Due to Sanitary Issue Found Operating Again

Authorities shut down the “dugyot” taho shop in Quezon City anew after being discovered operating secretly despite prohibition.

According to a GMA news report, a taho factory in Quezon City that had previously been stopped due to hygienic complaints was still functioning secretly. The Quezon City Task Force Disiplina and police were claimed to have raided the reported workshop on Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.

Authorities were dispatched to the area after receiving a report of very black smoke coming from the workplace. When Task Force members were exposed to unclean buckets and taho containers, they were taken aback.

Cockroaches were still crawling and other items were still rusted. The taho cooking water turns black as well. The cleanliness is insufficient, according to Mary Anne Del Rosario, personnel of the Disciplinary Task Force, and they can truly declare that their facility is filthy.

Because the proprietor of the taho factory was not there, the authorities called the relative. The relative pleaded with me not to shut it first. Lorna Madriaga claims that her cousin, the proprietor of the taho factory, is sick.

The Disciplinary Task Force said that the taho workshop was shuttered a few nights ago, but that it was still operating discreetly. Aside from the protocol infractions, the QC-Task Force Disiplina discovered that the report lacked an operating and sanitation permit, so it was closed.
