Cindy Miranda on receiving indecent proposals
Nerisa lead actress Cindy Miranda shared how she is dealing with indecent proposals and the unethical things some men would say to her.
From being a beauty queen, Cindy has a chance to star in a new movie with Aljur Abrenica. Although her name became controversial when Aljur’s breakup with his estranged wife Kylie Padilla was reported, Cindy stressed that she is not the third party and that she has nothing to do with this issue.
Just like many female celebrities in the Philippines, Cindy admitted that there were also times that she would feel verbally abused by some men, based on the article in Manila Bulletin. However, the actress said that she let them be because, for her, they do not deserve her time.
“Bahala kayo kung anong gusto niyong sabihin. Pagnasahan niyo ako or whatever. Hanggang du’n lang sila,” she said. However, if things will go beyond this, she will definitely do something.
Cindy Miranda also mentioned that she has received indecent proposals and her way of dealing with these is just to ignore and not pay attention. “Wala naman silang powers kung di mo sila bibigyan ng powers… Wala silang magagawa sayo kung hindi mo sila papahintulutan,” the actress stressed.
Previously, she has to deal with bashers who called her “p*kp*k, kabit, bobo” as her name was dragged into the Aljur-Kylie breakup. Cindy said that she can’t understand why other people would judge her easily even without knowing who she really is. Although she does not want to get affected, she admitted that those bashings also hurt her.
Cindy Miranda also shared that she does not mind being categorized as an actress who is known for steamy films. She said that she loves her job and in whatever category she belongs to, she just wants to deliver what her character needed her to do.
