Seaman Dies After Drowned in Strong Flood When He Tries to Save His Goats
SEAMAN DROWNED IN FLOOD – A man who tries to save his gots drowned in a creek died after he was swept by a strong flood.
In Brgy, Callitong, Burgos, Ilocos Sur, a seaman perished after being washed away by a strong current of creek water. According to the report of Remate, the man attempted to save his pet goats from drowning.

Roger Dalit Abril, 51, a married resident of the region, was confirmed as the victim. During the heavy rain, the victim allegedly ran down into the creek to save his pet goats, according to PLt. Donaldson A. Pagalanan, OIC of Burgos MPS.
The victim, however, was unable to overcome the intense pressure created by the strong current of water after descending and swimming in the creek. He was unable to see a few moments later, and it was assumed that he had been swallowed and vanished.
Burgos MPS and MDRRMC search and rescue teams discovered the body of the victim who was carried away and reached the Burgos river in Brgy. Luna of such a town around 9:00 a.m.
Meanwhile, a brave stranger was captured by local residents saving the life of a stray dog from great danger. In the footage, a brave man is seen leaping over the sloping wall to save a stray dog who was swept away by the river.
The man’s activity is extremely dangerous because it puts his life in jeopardy. The man is seen holding to the branches in order to reach the dog who has been washed away by the water. When the man approached the dog, he dragged it out of the roaring torrent.
