ZSA ZSA PADILLA – Singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla remembers the late King of Comedy Dolphy on his 93rd birthday and penned this message for him.
To recall veteran comedian Dolphy died on July 10, 2012, due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at the age of 83. And since he died, there was never a time that Zsa Zsa Padilla forgets him, especially during his death anniversaries and birthdays. And on his 93rd birthday, the singer-actress recalled that he seldom experiences a birthday that does not rain.
But despite his sunless birthdays, he’s always the one who brings sunshine into their lives. She wrote, “Happy birthday! I just remembered how it would normally rain during your parties. You seldom had a sunny birthday but needless to say, you brought sunshine in our lives!”
That morning as well, she narrated that she received a tribute video of him from his son Ronnie with the song entitled “Handog” in the background which is his favorite. She added, “It was important for you to leave your fans and loved ones with your amazing body of work. And yes, when we do miss you, all it takes is to press play to hear your songs, watch your movies and old footage of John and Marsha. We will always remember you fondly.”
She shared a photo of his tomb and his favorite made her remember his legacy. Towards the end of his post, she left a message saying that he will always be in her heart. To recall, they were together for 23 years and they have two children together: adopted daughter Nicole and singer Zia.
