Male Suspect Got Arrested After CCTV Captures Holdup Incident at Convenience Store in Sampaloc
A CCTV footage captured the holdup incident happened at a convenience store in Sampaloc, Manila, which leads to the arrest of the suspect.
On Thursday dawn (May 6, 2021), a male suspect entered a convenience store in Sampaloc, Manila around 1:00 am. The man roam around the store and suddenly pull out the gun and declared a holdup.
The cashier trembles in fear and give the store’s income to the suspect. The culprit took P23, 000 and some amount of cash from the vault of the convenience store. The store employees immediately reported the incident to the authorities.
Eventually, the police authorities successfully arrested the 34-year-old during a follow-up operation with the help of the CCTV. Sampaloc police is also investigating if the suspect has previous criminal records.
The police recovered the clothes of the suspect he is wearing during the incident. Unfortunately, the cops failed to recover the cash from the culprit. The holdupper would face charges of robbery (hold up).
The authorities also advised the public to secure buildings and properties to avoid such incidents.
