Construction Worker in Mandaluyong Nabbed Over P3.4M Worth of Illegal Drugs
Authorities arrested a construction worker and yields P3.4 million of illegal drugs during the buy-bust operation in Mandaluyong City.
A 29-year-old man allegedly pushed shabu in a buy-bust in Barangay Malamig, Mandaluyong, Wednesday night. According to Mandaluyong police chief Col. Gauvin Unos, the police have been monitoring the movements of alias Saddam, a construction worker based in Maharlika Village in Taguig for more than a month.

He was called a high-value target by the police and is said to have operations throughout Metro Manila. Under the bridge on Boni Avenue, the suspect allegedly met with the poseur-buyer police and bought him P600,000 worth of shabu.
When he was apprehended, he was reportedly found in possession of ten sachets weighing half a kilo and valued at P3.4 million. The defendant, who is accused of breaking the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, has declined to make a comment.
After the MECQ’s restrictions were relaxed, some pushers, according to Unos, returned to selling illegal drugs. The source and potential sale of the suspect’s drugs have been reported as persons of interest by police.
