Drug Pusher in Malabon Killed After Allegedly Exchanges Shots with Cops
A man who was accused as a drug pusher dies after he was killed by police in Malabon after he allegedly exchanges fire during the buy-bust operation.
In Malabon City, a suspected illegal drug pusher was killed in a shootout with police who were conducting a buy-bust operation. The slain perpetrator was known as alias “Arnel,” from Brgy. Potrero’s No. 21 Interior.

According to Malabon Police Chief Col. Joel Villanueva, a buy-bust operation against the suspect was conducted at his home at about 3:00 p.m. by Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) operatives led by PLT Joseph Alcaraz.
PSSg Sembrero, who pretended to be the buyer, was able to complete the transaction with the perpetrator, but Arnel allegedly learned that his co-transaction was with the cops. The perpetrator drew a pistol and fired at the poseur-buyer, prompting backup operative PCpl Cabrera III to retaliate with a bullet, killing Arnel.
SOCO staff who responded to the crime scene were able to recover a cal. 38 revolver loaded with three bullets and a missed shot, two fired cartridges, two bullets, five plastic sachets of suspected shabu, and some drug paraphernalia during the investigation by P/SSgt. Jeric Tindugan and P/SSgt. Jose Romeo Germinal II.
