Only Essential Workers Are Allowed to Enter & Leave Metro Manila & GCQ Areas
Only essentials workers were allowed to enter and leave Metro Manila and its nearby areas under general community quarantine.
Starting Monday (March 22, 2021), only essential workers will be allowed to enter and leave Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, at Rizal, which have been placed under general community quarantine. Interior Undersecretary Bernardo Florence has also started the 10 pm – 5 am curfew policy.
“Walang problema ‘yun within the bubble area hindi natin pinagbabawal ang movement ng tao, meron pa ring public transport, Palabas o papasok sa area na ito ay pinagbabawal natin unless authorized sila,” Florence said.
The areas have been placed under general community quarantine with additional restriction due to the surging cases of the coronavirus disease. Essential travels such as food and medicine deliveries are also exempted from the restrictions.
Essential workers just have to present their identification card or certificate of employment to the checkpoint personnel. Leisure or tourism travel are strictly prohibited in those areas.
