8-Year-Old Child Stabbed To Death By Mother’s Partner In Mabalacat, Pampanga
MABALACAT – An 8-year old child died after getting stabbed to death in the municipality of Mabalacat, Pampanga on Tuesday.
According to GMA News’ Balitambayan, the culprit behind the murder of the child was the mother’s partner, who was also injured. He was identified as Brian Fajardo.
Fajardo reportedly always have a fight with the victim’s mother Marjorie Magno. Prior to the incident, they had a fight after the mother saw that her partner was texting another woman. The fight resulted in a stabbing incident.
The child, identified as Zafiro Fritz Gaila was stabbed after he tried to protect his mother. He attempted to flee but was caught by the suspect and was stabbed further.
The mother cried for help. Responding neighbors and barangay officials were able to arrest Fajardo.
Based on the report, the suspect made no further statement regarding the incident.
