Sharon Cuneta fired back at this basher
Megastar Sharon Cuneta received a negative comment from a netizen who compared her to younger actresses in this generation.
Sharon’s milestones in the entertainment industry became an inspiration to many. From being one of the teen stars during her younger years, she has turned into one of the most respected actresses now. She did countless remarkable roles on TV and in the big screen. Aside from this, her singing career is also a success.
However, a basher who recently commented on the post of Sharon Cuneta said that the Megastar will be nothing if her career in showbiz started at the same time with Bea Alonzo, Liza Soberano, and Anne Curtis.
“Good thing noon ka nag-artista. Kung ngayon ka sumabay kina Bea (Alonzo), Liza (Soberano), Anne Curtis baka di ka napansin. Kung kamukha mo sana mommy mo (Elaine Gamboa – Cuneta), pede ka sumabay kaso daddy (Mayor Pablo Cuneta) mo ang kamukha mo, e,” @nak_namara commented, based on the article in Bandera.
Several fans of the Megastar defended her against this negative comment. They stressed that Sharon has been in the industry for several decades now and her staying power proved her prowess in this field.
Sharon Cuneta also fired back at the basher and defended herself. “Marunong akong kumanta, sumayaw, umarte. Nagpayaman ng producers dahil lahat ng ginawa ko (pelikula) sobra ang kinita. At nandito pa rin ako!” she said.
The Megastar also pointed out that one of the factors that made her stay in the entertainment industry until now is her “millions of supporters”, aside from having the X-factor.
