“She’s The One” Income Reached P12 Million in Opening Day

The newest movie from ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema titled, “She’s The One” earned more than P12 million after its opening day on October 16 as announced by Mico del Rosario on his official Twitter account.

Star Cinema’s romantic-comedy movie features some of the most well-known celebrities of our generations, namely Bea Alonzo, Dingdong Dantes and Enrique Gil. The movie easily p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the P10-million mark in box office earnings as it is currently shown in major theaters nationwide.

The movie is one of Star Cinema’s 20th anniversary offerings that is now considered a possible blockbuster movie for the year 2013. Star Cinema’s advertising and promotion manager, Mico del Rosario noted the movie as a “blockbuster.”

The movie, “She’s The One” tells the story of best friends Wacky played by Dingdong Dantes, and Cat portrayed by Bea Alonzo, whose complicated relationship takes a turn when Wacky unwittingly helps a young man (Enrique Gil) win the hearts of Cat.

The movie is directed by Mae Cruz and written by Vanessa Valdez. The movie also features Maricar Reyes, Liza Soberano, Tony Mabesa, Perla Bautista, Pinky Amador, Guji Lorenzana, RS Francisco, Marc Solis, Erika Padilla, Garlic Garcia, Daniel Matsunaga, LJ Reyes and Coleen Garcia.

The movie, “She’s the One” also marks Dingdong Dantes’ third movie with ABS-CBN after his hits “Segunda Mano” and “One More Try,” for which he won back-to-back best actor trophies.

The latest movie of Bea Alonzo, “She’s The One” is way behind compared to her previous box office movie during the opening day such as “The Mistress” (2012) and “Four Sisters and a Wedding” (2013), which earned P25 million and P15 million respectively.
