Trump Supporter Rioters Fired After Identities Were Leaked Online
TRUMP SUPPORTER RIOTERS FIRED – Yesterday, the world was shook after hundreds of supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol.
After losing the November 2020 elections, Trump continuously pushed the narrative that he won the elections by a landslide. But, after several attempts to overturn the election, Trump’s camp failed to present any evidence that would support his claims.
However, as President-elect Joe Biden’s victory was about to be official, Trump incited his supporters to march to the Capitol. Furthermore, instead of condemning this act, he thanked the supporters and told them he loved them.
Meanwhile, merely 68 people were arrested after storming the capitol and damaging property. Moreover, the FBI asked the public to help identify the rioters. This led to netizens investigating the photos uploaded on social media.
Twitter user Gaglad wrote: “Let’s name and shame them!”. Among those who joined the riot wore his work I.D. badge and was quickly identified. Following this, his employer immediately fired him.
Navistar Direct Marketing of Fredrick, Maryland, the company that fired the Trump supporter said:
While we support all employees’ right to peaceful, lawful exercise of free speech, any employee demonstrating dangerous conduct that endangers the health and safety of others will no longer have an employment opportunity with Navistar Direct Marketing
Along with this, even a college professor at Saint Vincent College was fired after posting a video on Facebook of him on the scene. According to an article from ABS-CBN, the college said:
As a result of that investigation, Dr. Saccone has submitted and we have accepted his letter of resignation, effective immediately
Lawyers who were also on the seen was reportedly fired by their firms after being identified.
