Two People Killed In Gun Incident In Baclaran, Parañaque
BACLARAN – A man and a woman was killed in a shooting incident in Baclaran, Parañaque on Monday evening (December 14).
The man, identified as Alexander Peña, aged 38, was dead on the spot after he was shot while aboard his bicycle in Mactan St. at 8:30 PM, according to ABS-CBN News.
The Parañaque police reported that he was killed by a man aboard a black motorcycle who came from the other side of the road heading to Opeña St.
The assailant shot Peña multiple times on the head and torso before fleeing from the crime scene. Peña is a resident in Baclaran.
Another resident, identified as Ma. Nimfa Jacinto, 42 years old, was caught in the crime scene as she was near where Peña was.
She was shot in her right chest which passed through her back. Theresa Quita, her sibling, testified that she was having a conversation near her house.
The victim was taken to Pasay General Hospital but was unable to reach the area alive.
Based on the report, recovered from the crime scene were 5 bullet cases and 3 slugs from a 9mm firearm. Police are currently conducting further investigation to determine the motive of the crime.
