DepEd Plans to Provide Internet Allowance to Public School Teachers & Personnel
DepEd – The Department of Education is planning to provide an internet allowance to the public school teachers and personnel.
On Tuesday (September 15, 2020), the Education Department has issued the OUA Memo 00-0920-0124 with the aim to provide monthly connectivity and communications expenses for the employees.
The program covers all regional, division, and school employees (Both teaching and non-teaching). The employees are required to submit and update all the information needed. Only those who have registered and activated their accounts are qualified.
Education Undersecretary Alain Pascua made the announcement on his official Facebook page in preparation to the upcoming opening of online class on October 5, 2020.
“Kasalukuyang pinaghahandaan ang posibilidad ng pagbibigay ng buwanang probisyon para sa connectivity at communications ng mga teachers at personnel ng DepEd, Upang makatulong sa pagpaplano at pagtukoy kung ano ang malakas na signal sa bawat lugar at tahanan, hinihiling po namin na mag-register at mag-update ng kanilang mga DepEd Commons Account,” Pascua said.
