Billboard With Huge Face of NYC Chairperson Removed After it Reaps Hate Comments Online
Netizens ciriticize the National Youth Commision (NYC) chairperson after his huge face was placed in the COVID-19 billboard, but now removed.
Recently, the billboard with NYC chairperson Ryan Enriquez was criticized by the online community. The billboard reminds the public of steps on how to avoid coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
However, netizens noticed more of Enriquez’s bigger face which they called ‘epal’. As a result, the NYC chairperson apologized after his name gone viral on social media.
Based on the report of Coconuts, Enriquez said he has removed the billboard located near the entrance of a mall in Pasig City. He said he just wanted to help share information with the public in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

The NYC chair also clarified that the town did not spend any money on the billboard because it was free. He said, this is their family business and in fact, he has been doing it for a long time for another organization but there is no charge.
