Mindoro Occidental Governor Survives Assassination Due To Fast Reflexes
MINDORO OCCIDENTAL – Governor Eduardo Gadiano survives an assassination inside his own office due to his fast reflexes.
Having a high position in politics is never an easy job, especially when there’s a threat to your life. As such, you could never be too careful when you’re in the world of politics.
According to an article from ABS-CBN, Gadiano survived an attack that happened inside his own office inside Mamburao’s Capitol. The governor was said to be talking to someone inside his office. Suddenly, the suspect barged in with a knife and tried to stab him.
“Nakaligtas sa pananaksak ng isang lalaki si Occ. Mindoro Gov. Eduardo Gadiano ngayong umaga sa kaniyang opisina sa kapitolyo sa Mamburao. Ayon kay Gov. Gadiano, may kausap siya sa kaniyang opisina nang biglang pumasok ang lalaki at inundayan siya ng saksak.”
Luckily, the governor quickly dodged with his fast reflexes and escaped the attacker. The Capitol’s security team responded quickly to the incident and cornered the suspect inside the building’s comfort room.
As per the article, the police now have custody of the suspect armed with a knife. However, the intentions of the suspect’s attacks were still unknown.
