Lovi, Grace, Ron Poe Shares Heartwarming Birthday Tribute To Late Dad Fernando Poe Jr.
LOVI – Kapuso star Lovi Poe, Sen. Grace Poe, and DJ Ron Poe paid tribute to their late father Fernando Poe Jr. on his birthday.
Late actor Fernando Poe Jr. is one of the actors who left a big mark in the Philippine entertainment industry. He starred in approximately 300 films. He was the one who directed, wrote, and produced some of those films.
FPJ was dubbed as the “King of Philippine Movies.” His movies touched audiences to the core. Until now, his fans kept on requesting to remake his movies and past projects.
Fernando Poe Jr. died on December 14, 2004, due to thrombosis and multiple organ failure. He would have turned 81 years old on Thursday, August 20. Kapuso actress Lovi Poe, Senator Grace Poe, and DJ Ron Poe paid tribute to their beloved father.

Lovi Poe is Fernando Por Jr.’s daughter with former actress and model Rowena Moran. On Instagram, the actress uploaded a picture of her dad. It came with a caption, “Ang dami siguro nating pagkwentuhan. Someday. Cheers in heaven.”
Senator Grace Poe, for her part, shared a series of video clips of ‘Da King.’ She is the adopted daughter of the actor and his widow Susan Roces.
“Si FPJ ay tunay na nagmahal sa bayan. Malasakit sa mga nangangailangan at tumutulong ng walang pag-aalinlangan. #SiFPJ ang Hari ng Masang Pilipino,” she wrote in one of her captions.
Meanwhile, Ron Poe, Fernando Poe Jr.’s son with former actress Anna Marin, also posted an old photo of his father to mark the occasion. In his IG post, he wrote, “Happy Birthday Papa. We miss you!”
