Photo of FPJ, Dolphy, and Eddie Garcia surfaced on social media – 3 kings reunited
The 3 kings reunited, Fernando Poe, Jr, Dolphy, and Eddie Garcia, after the latter passed away on Thursday and their photos together when they were alive surfaced on social media.
FPJ’s moniker is The King while Dolphy is called the Comedy King. Undoubtedly, Eddie is also considered a “king” in the showbiz industry because of his superb work in acting and directing films.
The 3 kings of the industry were last seen together in a photo back in 2004. That was the time when FPJ ran for the presidency, Dolphy and Eddie supported his political endeavor.
December of that year, The King died after suffering from a stroke while the Comedy King died in 2012 due to multiple organ failure.
Seven years later, Eddie reunited with his fellow showbiz kings. On June 20, Manoy passed away after the accident he had on the set of Kapuso upcoming series Rosang Agimat.
As the photos of the kings surfaced on social media, several netizens expressed various comments.
“Of all these three, sir Eddie Garcia masters both action and comedy. Hail to the King of Kings,” Twitter user @jeremiahcausing commented on the Twitter post of ABS-CBN News.
For Twitter user @lukaspascual, Eddie Garcia is not a king but “The Ace” while the photo gave goosebumps to Twitter user @ReyesWenny.
One netizen noticed the position of the late actors in the photo is the same as the order of their deaths.
