Unidentified Suspects Shot NCMH Chief Roland Cortez and its Driver in Quezon City
The National Center for Mental Health chief Roland Cortez and his driver have been shot dead in Tandang Sora, Quezon City.
Nowadays, the Philippine government is already implementing stricter rules and regulations in the country to reduce the rate of criminality. However, the crime continues to spike due to the increase of wickedness.
The Quezon City Police District Station 3 reported that two people have been found dead inside a red Toyota Vios along Cassanova Drive corner Tandang Sora Avenue, Barangay Culiat. The two reportedly died due to a shooting incident.
The victims were identified as NCMH chief Roland Cortez and his driver Ernesto Dela Cruz. The police report shows that Cortez is 61-year-old while dela Cruz is 46-year-old.
According to the authorities, a riding-in-tandem shot the victim while traveling along Commonwealth Avenue.
The police are still investigating the incident to locate and identify the suspects who were responsible for this shooting incident.
