PAGASA – Intertropical Convergence Zone To Bring Rains Over Several Areas Of PH This July 27, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this July 27, 2020.

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ will bring rains over many parts of the country.

According to GMA News, known as the area where winds from the northern and southern hemisphere meet, the ITCZ will affect Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, further bringing scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the latter two areas.,

Along with localized thunderstorms, the said weather system will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The said areas will expect isolated rain showers mostly in the afternoon or evening. The bureau further warned that flash floods or landslides might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas will face slight to moderate coastal waters while the rest of the country will face slight coastal waters.

The sun has risen at around 5:38 AM and is expected to set at 6:27 PM.
