Allan K’s business announces bankruptcy, Joey De Leon’s joke about the close down before comes true.
JOEY DE LEON – The comedy bars owned by Kapuso host Allan K, Zirkoh and Klownz, have permanently closed down due to pandemic.
Zirkoh and Klownz owned by the television host and comedian Allan K both got permanently closed down due to the economic effects of the pandemic. Klownz is located along Quezon Avenue, Quezon City and Zirkoh is at Tomas Morato, Quezon City.
For more than three months, the business that withstood many years of prosperity shut down unable to handle the storm. Owner Allan K and general manager for Zirkoh and Klownz Lito Alejandria said in their letter that the permanent close down is due to a “tremendous economic financial loss”. Klownz and Zirkoh have operated for 18 and 16 years, respectively.
After this report erupted online, many netizens have then remembered the jokes of veteran star Joey De Leon about this before which eventually came true. Truly, words are sharp and we never what can happen next.
The owner of the building he’s renting did not waived his monthly payment since lock down which was more than three months ago. And during those times, his bars are closed. His company continued to spend and spend without anything in return which caused their devastating bankruptcy.
Meanwhile, many giant and known businesses and companies have announced bankruptcy amid the pandemic such as Victoria’s Secret, AirBnb, and many others. Zara, La Chapelle, Chanel, Hermes, Patek Philippe, Rolex, Nike, and Starbucks are just some which suffered discontinued production, closing down of their several stores, and laying off numerous employees.
