COVID-19 And Our New Tomorrow
The world is racing against the clock
When will this crisis seize?
How long till the virus stops?
People are terrified, the world is at freeze
Summers turn to ghost towns
Nobody in the streets
Do we let ourselves get down?
Or do we say no to defeat?
Whenever this is over
A new tomorrow shall arise
The people should be wiser
And not repeat the same demise
We shall grasp our new tomorrow
And end this era of sorrow.
LESSONS LEARNED
Lessons learned amid the pandemic
Never be complacent
And don’t let yourself be frantic
Think before you act, don’t be impatient
The world is still turning
So let this all be a lesson
To stop the abusing
Of nature and its creation
Hoping governments would learn
To prioritize its people
So that they may earn
That ignorance is lethal
This lesson is for every one
Lets use it when the virus is done
