Harry Roque: PH Gov’t Requests Interpol “Red Notice, an International Arrest Warrant” vs. Former Spox

PH Gov’t Seeks Interpol Red Notice vs. Harry Roque over Alleged Illegal POGO Link

HARRY ROQUE – The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) confirmed that the Philippine government already requested for an International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) Red Notice versus the former Spokesman.

Roque is away from the country for more than a year now since the House of Representatives ordered his arrest for contempt. The former Spokesman of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is being investigated over his alleged link to the operations of the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) in the country.

Duterte’s former Spokesman hid for several months before he appeared in public again last March 2025 — when the custody of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte was transferred to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands.

Harry Roque who stays in The Hague is one of those who defend former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte who allegedly did not officially order killings. He also claims that he is allegedly being persecuted because of his ties with the Duterte family.

According to Roque, he will only return to the Philippines after the term of Pres. Bongbong Marcos ends. He stressed that he could not forgive him for supposedly causing the distance between him and his family now as he is away from the country.

Bongbong Marcos

Harry Roque has called on Marcos Jr. to resign and let Vice Pres. Sara Duterte take the lead several times. Amid being away from the country, a local court in the Philippines has issued an arrest warrant against Duterte’s former Spokesman.

Recently, based on a report of The Manila Bulletin, PAOCC spokesman Winston Casio confirmed that the Philippine government has requested for a Red Notice on Harry Roque to the Interpol. According to him, it is part of the government’s move of expanding the pursuit of the key figures tied in the alleged Porac, Pampanga scam.

“The Philippine government already submitted a request for a Red Notice, an international arrest warrant for Mr. Roque,” Casio said.

Based on the report, the PAOCC Spox stressed that Harry Roque is projecting himself as allegedly “a victim of political persecution”. He denied the claim of the former Spokesman of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte.

“It’s just difficult because he’s projecting himself as supposedly a victim of political persecution. There’s no such thing. Everything depends on the evidence,” he added.

Recently, several farmers in Mariveles, Bataan also filed complaints against Harry Roque over an alleged land-grabbing.
