Update on the Philippine Coronavirus Cases From the DOH
PHILIPPINE CORONAVIRUS CASES – A total of 414 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Philippines today, April 6, 2020.
Philippines is one of the countries affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The said disease was first recorded in China, specifically in the city of Wuhan which was under a lockdown for several weeks due to the outbreak.
Currently, China is already recovering from the impact of the coronavirus outbreak while several other countries are battling to contain the spread of the disease.
In PH, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte declared an enhanced community quarantine or ECQ in the entire Luzon. Also, the whole country is under a state of calamity.
The movement of the people has to be limited to curb the spread of coronavirus. Officials in Visayas and Mindanao also declared an ECQ in their respective areas.
Recently, an update about the Philippine coronavirus cases was released by the Department of Health. According to DOH, 414 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded today, April 6, 2020.
The total coronavirus cases confirmed in PH now is 3,660. Eleven (11) new deaths were recorded bringing the total to 163 while nine (9) patients recovered from the disease. The total recoveries is at 73.
