Health authorities advised the public to stay indoors to avoid getting infected with the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Governments have imposed lockdowns to curb the spread of the deadly virus from China.
There are now 1 million COVID-19 cases with 50,000 deaths. The pandemic causes fears and people are panic-buying supplies to prepare for isolation.
In the Philippines, a man decided to offer service to people who don’t want to get out of their houses. He gets paid to be their personal grocery shopper. He’s risking his life to feed his family amid the crisis good thing his customers always give him a generous tip.
Recently, another guy caught the attention of the netizens after a Facebook user named Alberto Labrador shared the photos and videos of a man wearing an inflatable shark suit wandering outside a supermarket.
Since protective gear are running out, he decided to improvise and go shopping wearing the funny costume. Based on a report from GMA News, the man who wore the shark suit was Labrador’s friend named Mario Gregorio F. Aglipay.
According to the report, it was their April Fool’s stunt. Alberto Labrador penned a humorous caption: “Landshark spotted at Landmark. Be careful folks. Practice your social distancing. He may get hungry in the line.”
