PAGASA – Latest Weather Updates As Of February 17, 2020 (Monday)
PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration this February 17, 2020.
The bureau’s early morning forecast said that the northeast monsoon or amihan will affect northern Luzon on this day.
According to GMA News, amihan will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley.
It will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, as well as the rest of Luzon.
The entire Visayas and Mindanao, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides especially during severe thunderstorms.
As per the report, the seaboards of Northern Luzon will have rough coastal waters with waves reaching up to four meters.
Meanwhile, the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon and the rest of Luzon will have moderate to rough seas
The entire Visayas and Mindanao will have slight to moderate coastal waters.
