The Philippine Government have already declared the list of National Holidays for the year 2013 based upon the Proclamation 459, signed last 2012. The EDSA Anniversary was declared as a Special Holiday for all schools.

The special holidays on February 25 will be an ordinary workday and not a holiday for the employees in private and public offices. The employees working on both public and private will only receive their regular pay rate with no minimum pay required.
Pay rules for special non-working holidays and regular holidays was based upon the DOLE Pay Rules for 2013.
