A hit-and-run victim from Tuguegarao City is begging at restaurants and stores across Quiapo, Manila just to earn money to buy food.

In these modern generation, we can still see beggars begging along the streets just to earn money or food from the bypassers. Most of them can be seen in public places such as malls, churches, schools, restaurants, and other business establishments.

Good-hearted people are giving money or food to less-fortunate people especially for those who are begging along the streets. However, there are some ill-mannered people insulting beggars.

Recently, a Facebook user named Wilson Baunto has shared the photos of a hit-and-run victim begging along the streets of Elizondo and Hidalgo in Quiapo, Manila just to have food. The beggar is victim of a hit and run incident in Tuguegarao City.

Baunto said that the beggar has been identified as Romel Apanto of Montreal, Masbate. He is wandering the street of Metro Manila for already three (3) years just to beg for foor and money. He usually sleeps at Luneta Park or in Lawton, Manila.

The concerned netizen is also calling the attention of the social media users to help the poor guy.

“Isang lalaking naHIT AND RUN sa Tuguegarao City, namamalimos para may makain sa araw-araw sa kalye ng Elizondo at Hidalgo sa Quiapo, Manila.
Nakita ko itong mama sa kalye ng Elizondo na humihingi nang makakain sa kanyang pinupuntahang restaurant at tindahan.
Ayon sa kanya, ang pangalan niya ay si Romel Apanto taga Montreal, Masbate at tatlong taon na siya rito sa Manila at siya ay natutulog lamang sa mga lansangan sa luneta park at Lawton sa Manila. Siya ay nagtratrabaho sa isang Palayan sa Tuguegarao City noon at dito raw sa lungsod siya naHit and Run kasabay nang pagkawala ng kanyang cellphone kaya hindi na raw siya makatawag sa kanyang magulang.
Kung sino po ang nakakakilala sa kanya, ipagbigay alam po sa kanyang mga magulang.
Kawawa naman halos wala na siyang makain at wala siyang permanenteng natutulugan dahil sa kanyang kalagayan. 🙁
