The “Mighty Mouse” of the PBA saved the day for the depending All Filipino champion Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters after they defeated Rain or Shine in Game 3 of the PBA Finals with the final score of 89-80.
The win of the Tropang Texters put them one game away of capturing the first-ever All-Filipino grandslam title in the PBA. Coach Norman Black although weary of the possible comeback of Rain or Shine but confident enough to capture the Philippine Cup title.
Veteran point guard Jimmy Alapag hit two important three pointers that allowed Tropang Texters to break loose in Game 3 of the Finals held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
