NATIONWIDE RATINGS – Here is the nationwide ratings result of “The Better Woman” and “The General’s Daughter” on their first clash in prime time.
Kapamilya prime time show “The General’s Daughter” is top-billed by the newly-engaged actress Angel Locsin along with the veterans such as Eula Valdez, Albert Martinez, and Tirso Cruz III.
TGD is about the lost daughter (Angel) of the general (Albert) who was taken away by his greatest enemy (Tirso). Ever since it aired, the series remained on the list of the top-rating shows but “Ang Probinsyano“, the show prior, never left the top spot.
And now, with the rival of TGD, Kara Mia, has finally ended, the counterpart series was replaced by Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres‘ “The Better Woman” about the departed twins who will probably fall in love with the same man. So, how did their first clash in prime time fare in ratings?
Based on PEP’s report as per the nationwide rating results from the Kantar Media, The Better Woman recorded 14.0% in its pilot while its rival, the TGD, listed 16.3 points higher in ratings which resulted to 30.3%.
Meanwhile, according to a previous report, Ramsay expressed this when he switched as Kapuso, “Lahat parehong sinasabi, sobrang mababait ang mga tao dun… And sobrang madaling katrabaho, and that’s the regular thing I hear from everybody that I’ve asked.”
“The Better Woman” is the actor’s first project with the Kapuso network after he transferred with the sexy actress Andrea Torres.
