Mother Forced Her 8-Year-Old Daughter Kneel On Live Embers
MOTHER – A mother in Zamboanga del Sur forced her 8-year-old daughter to kneel on burning firewood.
It’s normal for a kid to be silly or misbehave so the parents teach them a lesson so that they wouldn’t misbehave again.
There are surely lots of ways on how to teach our children a lesson. But sometimes parents became too harsh with their words or actions.
If the parents become too irrational in trying to discipline their children. The kid will be removed from them.
Sometimes kids will be kept in a social welfare center or their close relatives to take good care of them.
Recently, an 8-year-old girl was forced by her mother to kneel on embers for a perceived misdeed.
Based on a report from Inquirer, a young girl from Zamboanga del Sur failed to go to school for several days after her mom forced her to kneel on embers on June 24, the Feast of St. John the Baptist.
That day, the young girl’s teacher ended their class early so that the children could enjoy the rain.
The 8-year-old girl narrated what happened to her that day. She said she left her bag in their classroom with an intention to get it later. But when she returned, the room was already locked. So she decided to go home without her bag.
After her mother saw her without her bag, she suspected that her daughter slipped classes and commanded her to go back to school and get her bag.
According to the report, the 8-year-old girl went back to school. Of course, their room is still locked.
When she returned without her bag, her mom beat her with solid objects and get burning woods from the kitchen.
The young girl’s mother made her kneel on the embers.
The teacher wondered what happened to the young girl since she’s been absent for days. She visited their house and saw the girl in pain, both of her knees were badly burned.
She then report the girl’s condition to the police and the barangay council.
Based on the report, the mayor summoned the parents of the girl and made them promise not to hurt their daughter again.
The girl is temporarily staying at her grandparent’s house for medication. The grandfather warned the girl’s parents that the local authorities are keeping an eye on them.
