YouTube Vlogger Kah-Hua Ren Face Charges After Humiliating Beggar

The YouTube Vlogger Kah-Hua Ren or popularly known as “ReSet” has been found guilty after offering biscuits filled with toothpaste to a beggar.

The Barcelona court sentenced Kah-Hua Ren with 15 months of imprisonment and ordered him to pay 20,000 euros ($22,300) in compensation to the victim.

ReSet filmed himself filling the biscuits with toothpaste after removing the cream then gave them to a Romanian beggar along with a 20-euro bill.

The video footage uploaded in 2017 garnered negative feedback and reactions from the online community.

“Maybe I went a little far, but let’s look at the positive side, it will help him clean his teeth, I don’t think he has often brushed his teeth since he became poor,” Ren replied to his followers.

Ren also posted a new video showing that he returned to see the homeless man and gave him another 20 euros.

The judge wrote in her verdict that the homeless man threw up as Ren tried to stop the beggar to complain in exchange of 300 euros.

Unfortunately, the vlogger has already removed the video on YouTube.

All channels of the vlogger will be also shut down for five (5) years.
