Nueva Vizcaya PNP Director Removed from Post over Case on Death of NDFP Randy Malayao
NUEVA VIZCAYA PNP DIRECTOR – The Philippine National Police (PNP) director of Nueva Vizcaya and the Chief-of-Police of Aritao were removed over the case of NDFP’s Randy Malayao.
One of the known personalities who recently faced an unexpected attack is Randy Malayao, a peace consultant of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP).
The NDFP peace consultant was shot while aboard a bus in Nueva Vizcaya on January 30, 2019. The vehicle stopped in the town of Aritao where the suspect boarded the bus and shot Malayao.
The 39-year-old NDFP peace consultant did not survive the incident. His death sparked a massive cry for justice by several people including the members of Bayan Muna.
Recently, an update regarding the death case of Randy Malayao caused the surface. Based on a recent social media post of DZRH, the Nueva Vizcaya PNP director and Aritao Chief-of-Police were removed from their posts.
According to the post, the two officials were removed due to the alleged “mishandling of evidence” regarding the case of the late NDFP peace consultant.
As of this writing, there are still no further details on the removal of the two officials over the alleged “mishandling of evidence” on Malayao’s case.
