Facial Composite of Suspects in Case of Randy Malayao
RANDY MALAYAO – The authorities released the facial composite of the suspects in the death case of National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) peace consultant Randy Malayao.
On January 30, 2019, Randy Malayao was shot in Nueva Vizcaya while he was aboard a bus. It was around 2:00 am when the incident that took the life of the NDFP peace consultant happened.
Malayao reportedly boarded the bus in Quezon City. The vehicle made a stop in Aritao Town where the incident happened. The suspect boarded the bus and shot the 39-year-old peace consultant.
Reportedly, the suspects were able to escape by riding a motorcycle.
The death of Malayao sparked call for justice from the public. Members of Bayan Muna even organized a protest as they call for justice over the death of the NDFP peace consultant.
In line with the death case of Malayao, two officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP) were recently removed from posts due to alleged “mishandling of evidence”.
The said officials are the director of the Nueva Vizcaya PNP and the chief-of-staff of Aritao Town.
Recently, another update about the case over the death of NDFP peace consultant Randy Malayao crossed the surface. According to CNN, the PNP Cagayan Valley has already released the facial composite of the suspects.
As of this writing, there are still no further details on the suspects over the death of NDFP peace consultant Randy Malayao.
