Here’s Coco Martin’s reaction over Albayalde’s complain in Ang Probinsyano show.
ANG PROBINSYANO – The FPJAP lead actor Coco Martin reacts after PNP chief Director General Oscar Albayalde raises concern about the show.
The Kapamilya show FPJAP is a top-rating show in ABS-CBN network top-billed by Coco Martin playing the famous role ” SPO2 Ricardo Dalisay“. Successful since it first had its pilot episode, it is now airing on its third year.
However, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Oscar Albayalde reacted and raises his concern about the portrayals of police officers in the said show and the inclusion of police corruption in its recent episode.
He said, “Hindi naman fair sa PNP ‘yung mga ganyang portrayal. Parang ‘yung the chief PNP himself is a villain — hindi naman po siguro kailanman nangyari sa amin. In reality, well, hindi puwedeng mangyari iyan.”
In return, ABS-CBN responded to Albayalde’s complaint and in a press statement the network and the show have stated, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” assures the Philippine National Police (PNP) that the characters, places, and incidents in the program are purely fictitious as stated in the disclaimer aired at the start of the show every night. There is no intention to smear the reputation of any organization or portray any person in a negative light.”
And now, even the lead actor Coco also reacted to this and apologized if, in any way, they have offended someone with their show. The Kapamilya actor also clarified that everything was all purely coincidental.
He indicated, “ANG MGA PANGALAN, KARAKTER, AT MGA INSIDENTE SA PROGRAMANG ITO AY KATHANG-ISIP LAMANG AT HINDI NAGPAPAKITA NG MGA TOTOONG TAO, ORGANISASYON, LUGAR, O KAGANAPAN. ANUMANG PAGKAKAHALINTULAD SA TOTOONG BUHAY AY DI SINASADYA.”
