Price Comparison Between SM Supermarket & Palengke Product Shocked The Online Community
The price comparison between SM Supermarket product and (Local Market) Palengke product has shocked the social media users.
Nowadays, basic commodities and market products have continued to increase because of the new Tax Reform Law.
The ordinary Filipino consumers were severely affected by the price adjustment in the market contributing to their burden on budgeting their daily cost of living.
Recently, the Facebook page “Kulitan sa Planet OPDI EYPS” has uploaded the photos of Chili prices in the local market (Palengke) and SM Supermarket.
The photos show the huge difference between the price of ‘Chili’ in SM Supermarket and in the local market.
The cost of a pack of chilies in the local market is only P10 while the other photo shows ¼ kilo of chilies for P100.
Meanwhile, the price of a pack of chilies in SM supermarket is worth P1029.60, which is considered as an overpriced product.
However, the price tag placed in the pack of chilies seems mistaken and not its original price.
