Grace Poe Announces List Of TRAIN Law Beneficiaries To Be Release This Month
Senator Grace Poe announced that the list of TRAIN Law beneficiaries was expected to be released within this month of June 2018.
On Friday morning (June 22, 2018, Senate Committee on Public Services head Grace Poe said that the list of subsidy recipients under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law will be publicized by the end this month.
The lawmaker also said that the subsidy will be immediately distributed to the recipients under the TRAIN law.
“Ngayong Hunyo ay ilalabas na po nila ang kanilang listahan kung sino pa ang makakatanggap, at sa lalong madaling panahon ay ipapamigay na nila ang tulong na iyon,” Poe said quoted by inquirer.
Earlier, Poe has already sent separate letters to several government officials for the quick implementation of the mechanism to reduce the effects of TRAIN law.
The 50-year-old politician expressed her gladness that the agency heads including Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello, Social Welfare Secretary Virginia Orogo, and Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Chairman Martin Delgra III responded to her request.
The Senator also said that about 4 million poor families will be included on government’s unconditional cash transfer (UCT) program, vouchers for operators and drivers of public utility vehicles.
