ROILO GOLEZ – Parañaque Vice Mayor Rico Golez confirmed that his father Rogelio ‘Roilo’ Golez has passed away.

Roilo Golez is a former national security adviser based on a report. He was the security adviser from 2001 up to 2004 under former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s term. He is one of those who push for the rights of the Philippines over the West Philippine Sea.

Based on a recent report in ABS-CBN News, Golez’s Parañaque Vice Mayor son recently confirmed his passing. He died at the age of 71 years old.

According to the report, the former security adviser is a graduate of US Naval Academy and a former officer of the Philippine Navy. There are still no details about the cause of his death.
