Recently, the Cebu Pacific has given its statement over the “baggage incident” that involved one of its female passengers.

Based on the social media post of Jovic Yee tagging Inquirer.Net, the airline’s management expressed in its statement that they are investigating the incident. The passenger flew from London to Hong Kong before she boarded flight 5J 113 of Cebu Pacific.

The airline coordinated with the Hong Kong International Airport “to trace the handling” of the luggage of the female passenger. Furthermore, the statement reads that the luggage of the passenger was placed inside a Unit Load Device (ULD) after she checked in flight 5J 113.

“CCTV security footage showed that the ULD arrived Manila intact, with the passenger’s baggage inside. CCTV footage further showed ground personnel loading the baggage on the carousel with the lock still in place,” Cebu Pacific wrote in its statement.
