“I don’t care if I’m disbarred’ Lawyer Lorenzo Gadon Says Over His Baguio Behavior
Lawyer Lorenzo Gadon said in a statement “I don’t care if I’m disbarred” over his behavior before the top magistrate’s supporters Baguio City.
On Thursday (April 12, 2018), Lorenzo Gadon lambasted the president of Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) after stating that he could be disbarred over his over his obscene gesture.
Gadon, the accuser of Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno cursed and showing his middle finger in Baguio City.
“I don’t care if I am disbarred. I will still eat delicious food and live comfortably. I don’t depend on income from lawyering alone, unlike some IBP officials,” Gadon said quoted by Inquirer.
Last Tuesday (April 10, 2018), Gadon was seen making his obscene gesture after the protesters taunted him before the oral arguments on the quo warranto petition against Sereno began.
IBP president Abdiel Fajardo said that the inappropriate gesture of the lawyer was already a ground for his disbarment.
Two disbarment complaints have been filed against Gadon over his alleged arrogance, rudeness, and dishonesty during Sereno’s impeachment hearing.
The lawyer threatened the IBP officials that he will also file a disbarment case against them.
