JOSHUA GARCIA – Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Joshua Garcia broke his silence on the rumors that his relationship with young Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto has ended.
Two of the most prominent young stars now are loveteam partners Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto. Their fans and supporters collectively call the two young celebrities ‘JoshLia’.
Joshua is a former housemate of ABS-CBN’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother. Julia is the daughter of former actress Marjorie Barretto with her comedian ex-husband Dennis Padilla.
It is no secret to the public that Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto are not just loveteam partners. Based on a report, the young actor has previously admitted that he’s courting his on-screen partner.
Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto have worked together on several projects including an episode in Maalaala Mo Kaya and the movies Vince And Kath And James, Love You To The Stars And Back, and Unexpectedly Yours.
Recently, the young actor was hooked on issues after his alleged private conversation with a female netizen crossed the social media. There were netizens who have bashed him as they doubted his love and loyalty for the young actress.
Following the alleged private convo issue, there are rumors that Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto have ended their relationship. The two has yet to reveal the real score between them.
Based on a recent report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), during his appearance on Tonight With Boy Abunda, the The Good Son actor broke his silence on the issue that he has broken up with his rumored girlfriend.
According to Joshua, they just had a misunderstanding and no breakup happened. He stressed that what they are now is the same as what they were then.
When asked about the role of Dane, the female netizen, in his life, the young actor is firm that she was never part of his life or anything. He admitted that complimented the photo of the netizen but no private conversation happened.
Based on the report, Joshua Garcia went emotional as he admitted that what happened was not easy and many have judged him. According to him, he and Julia Barretto have fought over it but they were able to fix the matter.
“Sobrang okay namin ngayon… Siyempre I apologized for what happened and sinabi ko na challenge lang to, kaya natin itong malagpasan,” he said during his appearance on TWBA.
Joshua Garcia expressed that he regretted commenting on the photo of the female netizen as it angered his loved one. Meanwhile, according to him, the incident taught him something and he heard what God wanted him to hear.
“Kasi may mga natutunan ako na ingatan ko ang ginagalawan kong mundo, kasi hindi siya para sa lahat sabihin… Siguro may gusto lang iparating sa akin si Lord. May gusto siya na matutunan ko. And narinig ko siya, gusto ko lang din po mai-clear sa lahat and ma-admit yung nangyari,” the young actor reportedly said.
