BAGANI – The death of Ganda and Mayari’s character in the epic series Bagani was speculated for the show to end sooner than expected.

Bagani is an epic series from the Kapamilya network starring Liza Soberano as Ganda, Enrique Gil as Lakas, Makisig Morales as Dumakulem, Matteo Guidicelli as Lakam, and Sofia Andres as Mayari.

This is one of the top-rating primetime shows of the ABS-CBN.

Bagani is a fantasy series and since day one, the people could not help but talk about it and every episode trends every night on Twitter.

However, everyone was shocked over the death of Mayari played by Sofia Andres, one of the main characters, from the show.

The people suddenly got confused with the twist.

On Twitter, a certain Chastine Kyle said, “Feeling ko talaga may twist itong show na ito. I mean why kill a main character so early for no reason right?”

And their astonishment did not just stop there for Ganda, the character of Liza, one of the lead roles as well, died and netizens just got more heartbreak.

One netizen has said, “Now something’s happening big. Two down. But just like power rangers, they’ll be back as one.”

Thus, the death of the two main characters has ignited the speculations that the show will end sooner than expected.

But Star Creatives’ head writer Mark Duane Angos has clarified and refuted the speculations.

In a Twitter post, he wrote, “Wag maniwala sa sabi-sabi. Pilit na pinapaiksi at pinapatapos ng kalaban. Tulad ni Sarimaw, na nais tapusin ang mga Bagani para maghari ang ka-chakahan. Don’t miss tonight’s #BAGANIUbusan at simula pa lang ito ng mahaba at masalimuot na kwento ng kabayanihan.”
