Actress Agot Isidro Reacts To Award Given To Chief Jovie Espenido For Leading Parojinog Raid
The Filipina actress Agot Isidro reacts to the special award given to Ozamiz City Police Chief Jovie Espenido for the leading the Parojinog raid.
Previously, the Ozamiz City police have conducted a raid on the residence of the Parojinogs, which becomes the headlines of the news. The raid has also caused the death of Ozamiz City Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog Sr., his wife, and 14 others.
The raid also caused the Depart of Justice (DOJ) to file criminal charges against Ozamiz City Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog and his brother Reynaldo Parojinog Jr. for their alleged illegal activities in the city.
Recently, Agot Isidro, a vocal critic of President Rodrigo Duterte has reacted to the award given by the Philippine National Police (PNP) to Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido who led the Parojinog raid in Ozamiz City.
Isidro tweeted on her social media account saying “Reward those who……never mind.” The netizens also reacted to Agot’s tweet.
Espenido will receive an “Outstanding Performance in Anti-illegal Drug Operations” for the success of the raid conducted in Ozamiz City and not by killing Mayor Parojinog, according to PNP Chief Director Ronald dela Rosa.
The PNP chief also clarified that Espenido was already among the awardees for his accomplishment on the anti-illegal drug operation in Albuera and Ozamiz City.
