An Omu-Rice vendor caught the attention of the netizens on Facebook.
OMU-RICE – A Japanese Omu-rice vendor went viral on the social media after netizen Dianne Adolfo posted about him and his product.
Netizen Dianne Adolfo took to her social media account a story on how she met the Japanese vendor whose products she really recommend for people to try.
Based on a post on her Facebook account, the netizen thought that the Japanese man was lost as, at first, she did not clearly recognize what he was holding.
According to the netizen, she was about to get some money from her pocket when the man suddenly asked her: “You wanna try? Just P35 only.”
The netizen bought an omu-rice, the product sold by the Japanese man, and asked him if she can take a picture with him. She stressed on her post that it is rare for her to see foreigners selling their own products on streets.
Based on the post, the omu-rice vendor asked her if she would have the food for dine-in or take-out. Adolfo had it for take-out.
The man suggested her to put ketsup on top of the food. According to Adolfo, the omu-rice is delicious even without ketsup. She compared it to Philippines’ omelette with rice with a slight difference as it is rolled.
The netizen recommended the food to the public. She even stated in her post a suggestion to buy not just one omu-rice.
“Pag-nakita nyo sya buy na rin kayo. Wag isa wah kasi ako nabitin sa isa,” Adolfo wrote.
The post went viral on the social media. As of the writing, it has already reached more than twenty thousand shares. Lots of netizens also commented on the post. Most of them tagged the other people they know in their comments.
